Really cool ep... I wasn't expecting the darkness & horror (which I thought was done very well) so that made it all the better :)

First complete episode I watched approximately a year ago. I taped all 24 hours of the chain reaction on Memorial day.

I saw this episode last night as I am sure anyone who is a scaper saw it last night as well. I found this episode to be very stressful and it was gory and awesome at the same time. I thought it was great! I did feel sorry for the pilot.

I just found Farscape so I am a new scaper. I cannot believe it took me so long to finally watch this show. What made me watch the show was I am a huge fan of Kate Bush and some Farscape/Kate Bush fan made a video to a Kate Bush song called Under Ice and used tootage from the farscape series as the video. It was so phenominal that it made me want to watch Farscape so I checked it out and immediately I was hooked.

I came in on the latter part of season 2 on Sci-Fi channel. I have to see them all now and am not sure if I should stick with it from here or should ignore and start from the beginning? Any suggestions.

By the way if anyone wants me to email them a copy of the Farscape/Kate Bush video just email me at aerynsun@comcast.net I will either try to direct you to the site or zip the file and email it to you. I have dsl so the email shouldn't take to long if you have the same. Just let me know!

Ofrahaza, If I were you I would keep on watching. The reruns are going to stop playing midnight S-T. They are going to then run one episode per week. So keep on watching and enjoying, because the BEST is yet to come.

"Eat Me" was, IMO, the scariest episode Farscape has ever done, and quite possibly the scariest episode of any sci-fi series.

And the ending blew me away. I think one of the things Farscape will always be known for is it's cliffhangers endings (whether the episodes are season finales or not).

And of course, with this episode, the narration in the opening credits (with Ben Browder seemingly speaking in two different voices) makes a lot of sense.

Apparantly, Tammy MacIntoshs' heartbeat was audible in the studio, she got herself so worked up!

Yes, I saw this episode today. Truly truly scary one this is and although the plot is basically nothing new, the god damn incredible beautiful masterstroke ending shows clearly why Farscape is the most amazing and daring series there's ever been. Other shows would have killed "him" off at the end of the episode - but these guys... Oh my god, I can hardly wait for the next episode. Really, I was so shocked at the end of Eat Me that I couldn't concentrate in anything for a hour. The final scene still rings in my head.

Of course the return of Crais & Talyn was a big plus also.

And why I'm here fighting to bring this show back.

Maybe it's because I'm a sick and twisted bastard but I thought this episode had a lot of good comedy value to it. I'm talking about all the stuff with Jool especially when she starts going off about how she's a civilized being and not supposed to be subjected to this crap. I also just loved the horribly clueless way Tammy held the pulse rifle (like a club) it was great, the little things like that, just perfect Jool and I was cracking up. I was cracking up through that whole scene with her jumping at her own footsteps and then sort of scampering back to cower in the transport pod after that door opened so invitingly. Then she's trying to convince herself she needs to shoot herself because it'll be less painful than being eaten but she misses her own head at point blank range and scares herself senseless again. Big props to Tammy Macintosh for really getting this all so perfect. It was one of Jool's best eps if you ask me. It was just such a contrst from the usual "I'm all alone but I'm going to go John Mclane and clean this whole ship out with this pulse pistol and a bunch of witty one liners" that you'd see in most sci-fi action shows. Mind you watching Jool clean that whole place out while yelling Yippie Ki yay Mother%@#$ers would probably have been even better.:rollin:

Some people saw this as being dark and horrible but it never really hit me that way. The hardest part for me to watch was Chi getting killed... and her clone/real self fleeing instead of helping. Not noble but sensible and in character for a survivalist and thus it was what I'd have expected from her.

I thought this episode had a lot of good comedy value to it. Oh, most definitely! Tammy was hilarious.

I hope we see MORE of Jool.

First, she is a great character.

Second, D'Argo does NOT need to get back together with Chi. Love Chi, but she's not right for him.

Third, more redheads is ALWAYS a good thing, and with Sikozu playing houseship with Scorpy, Moya has NO redhead for the first time in a long time.
