I know ... Hammerhead has nothing to do with FarScape. It's what I use on other forums so I don't have to try and remember them all. That age-thing going on. :)

I never had the Sci-Fi channel until about 8-months ago and had never heard of FarScape. I dropped cable for Dish, which gave me Sci-Fi, and then saw one episode. I immediately wanted to see more but show times and me never seemed to hitch up.

I'm presently in recovery from cervical surgery and a friend of mine happened to have the 1st season on DVD. I decided not to even try to watch reruns and waited for him to bring over the set. I now have 4 episodes to go to finish and boy am I in trouble. I never get hooked on programs. I never watch sitcoms or any other prime time TV. I have been trying to stretch watching the progams until I can go back to work but I keep finding myself popping in DVD after DVD. Now only 4 episodes to go. :(

Guess I'll have to buy myself a present and get the 2nd season.

Welcome aboard, Hammerhead.

Good luck on the recovery, and better luck on stretching out the time between DVDs!

hope the recovery goes well... and yes... FarScape is an addiction. It won't go away until there are... what... 10 seasons minimun? That would treat me well.

Welcome to our Forum!!! And welcome to the Farscape Fandom. I envy you the episodes that you have still to see. And when you've seen them all, you can watch them again and again. Each time you see more than you saw before. Your recovery will pass by in no time!

And don't be a stranger here. This forum is almost as fun as Farscape is.

Hi there Hammerhead,

Welcome aboard to the best group of forum posters that I've been privileged to find. There are other great forums out there like Kansas, but I just want to stick around here for a lot longer, well maybe until I got a lot more to offer anyhow.

Oh, and have a smooth a rapid recovery. :)

Thanks for all the responses.

I feel like I'm John in "Back And Back And Back To The Future". I'm down to two episodes left in year one, and without the 2nd year set, I'm seeing flashes of myself having withdraws. It doesn't look pretty.

Hammerhead. You can always start watching the first season again. When I get jonesing for Farscape that's what I do. That or read fanfic or watch incredible music vids on the farscapefantasy (http://www.farscapefantasy.com/episode.everything.html) web site. (if you are trying to remain spoiler free than you may want to avoid much of this stuff. Good luck on your recovery.

I just finished the last episode of the 1st season. Unfortunately I have to return the DVD's back to my friend so I won't be able to go through them again ... at least not for a while. And of course the last episode leaves me hangin':irate:

I did send my first email message to a con book. I guess that means the hooks are securily planted.

Welcome :bigwave: Hammerhead ... from one C-spine surgery candidate to another  hope you'll be feeling 100% soon.

You'll have to get season 3 and 4 too, not just season 2 ... trust me on this ... fortunately Amazon.com deliver to the door so you can order on-line and no shipping charges for purchases over $25.

Farscape ~ it's better than ...
 it's better than sex. :aok:

hey hammerhead, welcome to our little universe!

i had a similar problem as you (ran out of episodes to watch) and then i joined www.netflix.com. for $20/month you can rent as many DVD's as you want (can have maximum 3 at home). they have all farscape dvd's that have been published. i found it to be a great bargain.

I took your advice and signed up yesterday. I have the first three disks coming. As much as my kids spend on DVDs this should be a bargain. I'm in it at least until I see all the FarScape episodes.

Thanks,
