Where can a Canadian Farscape fan see the mini-series?

I hope I don't have to try downloading it. I'm stuck with a slow dial-up connection since I live in a rural area. I know that so far Space (http://www.spacecast.com) doesn't have the rights to it. Does anyone know if they plan to try getting them by October? What about BBC Canada or The New RO in Ottawa? I haven't been able to find out if anyone but Sci-Fi will air it. It's strange, I get just about every other American channel you can think of, but the one I will want in October is not availible on any service that I know of here.

Hi Farscaped - glad to see another Canadian scaper on FMD. So far Space has not let us know if and when they are airing PKW. They have told us that they are trying to get it for us - but no details as yet.

The Canadian Mini Moya campaign http://community.spacecast.com//ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=006540 We are emailing and snailmailing Space producers begging for the miniseries. There are links to postcards etc to send along with Farscape themes.

Other than that I have no idea as yet when the mini will be shown in Canada. I will say that many of us have sources in the US to get copies one way or the other. Keep posted on Space for announcements. We do have regular FS discussion threads on the forums.

Still waiting for news of UK/Ireland showing myself :( At least I have broadband so I'll probably get to see it one way or another. But it would be so nice to see it properly on TV.

At TorontoTrek a month ago, someone who claimed to work for Space said that they want to air the mini but the problem is that there is currently no Canadian distributer and therefore it is out of their control. I don't know what that means, but whatever it is, Space wants to show it but as of yet can't.

Ah you were there when she said that? To say the least we (at the FS table) weren't too happy the way she said it. In front of the guests and everything. :irate: But Space will probably get it but not by october. We almost always get stuff a couple of months late. Maybe we can try contacting Alliance Atlantis?

Bittorrent site that blows away the likes of Kazaa in speed and stability for things like this.

You'll need bitorrent though but that's just a google search and free download away.

I hope Space will get it but never hurts to have a good backup plan.
